SI’s work helps Congress address national challenges, such as the nation’s fiscal health, Census operations, tax policy and administration, and federal workforce planning.
SI leads GAO’s efforts that look more broadly across the federal government. For example, SI leads the work on GAO’s “High Risk” program, which identifies agencies and programs that are vulnerable to waste, fraud, abuse, or mismanagement, or are in need of transformation.
