A contract.

CNSA helps Congress determine how efficiently and effectively federal agencies acquire a broad range of goods and services to fulfill critical government missions. These can include sophisticated weaponry, complex space and satellite systems, advanced technologies, disaster response and recovery services, and medical supplies.

CNSA helps the federal government safeguard against excessive costs, schedule delays, or work that fails to meet the government’s needs and identifies opportunities to adopt better methods of buying goods and services.
