Triana McNeil is a Director in GAO’s Homeland Security and Justice Team. She oversees issues related to combating drug misuse, countering violent extremism and domestic terrorism, as well as aviation and surface transportation security, among others.

Triana joined GAO in July 1999. Prior to working at GAO, she worked at several non-profits focused on education and law and justice issues.

Triana earned a master's degree in public administration from George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree in American cultural studies and law & public policy from Western Washington University.
