Jill Naamane

Jill Naamane is a Director in GAO’s Financial Markets and Community Investment team. She oversees work on housing finance and assistance, insurance for terrorism and cyber risk, and disaster recovery and response.

Jill joined GAO in June 2001. She has led projects examining consumer financial protection issues and catastrophic insurance programs for GAO’s Financial Markets and Community Investment team. She has also served as Acting Director in GAO’s Physical Infrastructure team, where she oversaw work on federal asset management, including management of federal real property and the U.S. Postal Service. Jill became the Director of the Financial Markets and Community Investment team in 2022.

Jill earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in French and international relations from Grand Valley State University.
