Hannah Padilla

Hannah Padilla is a Director in GAO’s Financial Management and Assurance team. She oversees the financial statement audits of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Hannah joined GAO in February 2021. Prior to joining GAO, Hannah had a 25-year career at KPMG LLP, where she worked on the financial statement and performance audits of federal agencies. For instance, Hannah served as the lead audit partner on the financial statement audits of the Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
Hannah earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Information System Auditor, and a Certified Government Financial Manager.
