Chris Currie is a Director in GAO's Homeland Security and Justice Team. He leads GAO’s work on emergency management, disaster response and recovery, and Department of Homeland Security management and high risk issues.

Chris joined GAO is 2002 and has worked on a variety of homeland security and national defense issues, including transportation security, counterterrorism, and biodefense. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Public Administration from Georgia State University.

Chris works in GAO’s Atlanta Field Office.
